Let there be someone who is fairly ideal... We don't choose the person that we are going to love or fall in love with but there will always be one point or another that you'll say that "How I wish that I could have one that is... like this and like that and so forth" Life and Love were not made to be filled with standards or idea of being ideal but if I get the chance to be blessed with someone then...

1.) Pong... (Coco Martin from You're my Boss 2015 movie)

Let there be someone who still has the values of being a true blooded gentleman who will still open door/s for you. Quite simple gesture right? but it's definitely a challenge to find one who manage to do that nowadays.

Let there be someone who will look right through your eyes with complete sincerity especially when you are talking or saying something. It's hard to find someone who actually cares and dares to listen and at the same time focuses on what you are trying to say. Moreover, you can never go wrong with the eyes because as what they say "eyes are the windows of the soul".

Let there be someone who is willing to celebrate victory with you. Let there be someone who sees you as a confidant who is worthy of shared happiness, someone who recognizes you as an inspiration and the reason behind his every achievement.

Let there be someone who still looks and stares at you like you were the prettiest and most amazing person even though you were at your craziest and most embarrassing form.

Let there be someone who tolerates you being crazy at times and sings with his heart out when you feel like singing and whether you sing the song slightly off key, it definitely won't matter because he loves and will continually love you anyway, despite of being off key sometimes or most of the time, for him, you will always be the greatest singer. Let there be someone who will accept you as you are including your flaws and you being "sintunado" or out of tune.

Let there be someone who will listen to you when you're nearly at the point of crying and bursting out. Someone, who is willing to spend the rest of his time listening to your old drama and tiring stories. Girls, definitely has a lot of things to say, a lot of things running on their mind, so let there be someone who manages to be a "shock absorber" for the mean time that she can't compassionately keep it altogether . 

Let there be someone who won't let you feel the feeling of being "seenzoned", Let there be someone who won't left you hanging and wait for nothing. Every message deserves a reply may it be long or short, the bottom line is every message deserves a damn reply. 

Let there be someone who will wholeheartedly tell you the truth even it will crush you down into pieces. Honesty will always be a key. I'd rather be hurt with the truth than be happy with a lie. That's how it goes. At some point there are views and things that we refuse to see and realize but we have to include it into our own understanding may it be in our favor or not in our favor, let there be someone who will give you the ability to see and accept the things that you primarily refused to see and understand. Let there be someone who will bring you both sides of the reality because there's more than what the eyes can see, the heart can love and the brain can understand.

Let there be someone who is fiercely and bravely honest to tell you who you really are in his eyes yet accepts all these flaws wholeheartedly. 

Let there be someone who will rushed to the store just to be able to send you a message. Honestly, I admire guys who does the extra effort may it be big or small effort, still it's a counted effort. As what I already said, any forms of message deserves a reply. 

Let there be someone who is thoughtful enough to leave a note. Morning messages through phone and through the use of technology is sweet but morning notes with the flower gesture is sweeter. :)

Let there be someone who is willing to collect memories with you. Photograph definitely says a thousand words.

Let there be someone who sees you as if you're the last gem on earth. Girls, just wanted to feel special at some point.

Let there be someone who will be there by your side in every sunrise and sunsets of your life.

Let there be someone to hold onto during different seasons

Let there be someone who patiently waits. Waiting is a double edged sword kind of thing, it's a risk that could all end up into uselessness and disappointment but who wouldn't be moved by someone who takes the risk to wait like waiting for a rain in a drought. Let there be someone who is brave enough to swim the deepest sea and climb the highest mountain.

Let there be someone with this kind of mindset, someone who is selfless. Selflessness becomes the basis of a relationship when a person truly cares about you and they get pleasure from the way they make you feel rather than the way you make them feel. 

Let there be someone who offers you a shoulder to lean on whenever you are afraid or feeling blue. Let there be someone who becomes a home, someone to come running after to when the not so perfect times come crushing down. 

Let there be someone to have beside you whenever you go north, south, east or west or in any corner of the universe, someone who holds you as you travel every country, every city, someone to be happy with on a long trip or journey, someone to go on adventures with, explore and leave your comfort zones together. Let there be someone to be with while searching for a lot of things that were hidden, someone to be with while going and looking behind the ranges. Let there be someone who is willing to take the challenge, someone who is willing to go on an adventure with you, may it be hiking the highest mountain or swimming the deepest sea. Someone who is willing to hold your hand as you go along your chosen journey.

2.) Daryl Ong (From Bridges of Love episode)

Let there be someone who will serenade you, someone who will sing songs of love for you. Who wouldn't want to be serenaded right? it's rare to find a guy serenading someone nowadays, serenading has become part of the Filipino tradition that slowly being forgotten by the younger generations nowadays. But for me, it is one of the most sincere form of showing affection and appreciation.

3.) Gabby (Marlo Mortel from Oh My G)

Ok, Ok... I must admit, song composition is a plus plus point, you can never get away with a guy who uses too much creativity and innovation to catch your attention and honestly, I like his song here. :)

There's a lot of people who were able to express their feelings much better through songs. And I bet, you'll be interested in listening more often with what he actually wants to say if its with rhythm and harmony.

Let there be someone who won't let you carry the anxiety alone, someone who won't let you sing the song and dance the music alone. Let there be someone who will always be there to support and push you higher, someone who will make you feel at ease in every indefinite circumstances. Let there be someone who will simply say "it's okay" even you, yourself is not quite sure if it really is okay.

3.) Harry (Manolo Pedrosa from Oh My G)

(Well, my huge crush with Manolo Pedrosa and his character in Oh My G was one of the few confessions that I have to make. )

Let there be someone who is not afraid to express his feelings. Let there be someone who is real and won't hold back, someone who feels safe to take the risk with you and sees you as a safe shore and comfort zone. Let there be someone who just feels the need to be true to himself and to his feelings, someone who is brave enough to express despite a lot of uncertainties. 

Let there be someone who eventually got tired of playing games and sees you as the "game-changer". Let there be someone who had chosen to change and be the right guy, the better version of himself because of you.

Let there be someone who is not afraid to say sorry. Someone who values you more than any kind of pride that a person will tend to feel.  Someone who won't consider apologizing as a factor that will make him less of a man because you are more important than his ego. Apology is not a sign of a weak character because in fact, it requires great strength. 

Let there be someone who will cancel events just to have time to listen with all these things running through your head. A lot of guys easily gets tired of listening with the same stuff over and over again so it's a blessing to have someone who takes time to listen, takes time to let you be yourself without the threat of him leaving. Listening is one of the most sincere form of respect. As what Calvin Coolidge says "It takes a great man to be a good listener." Let there be someone who won't just listen with what is being said but will also listen with what is not being said, someone who is able to read between the lines.

Let there be someone who aims to be a better version of himself, someone who tries harder to be someone who is deserving to be with you. 

Let there be someone who sees you as a source of strength to keep going, to keep trying, someone who would prefer you to be around during his struggling times. 

Let there be someone who makes surprise visits, someone who makes it a little bit easier through a tough and busy day. The feeling when someone is making an effort to make you smile is awesome.

Let there be someone who is not afraid to make promises because he is certain that he won't break it. Let there be someone who will ride in with your ideas just for you to be secure even if it is out of his league or beyond his actual belief and norms. 

As what I said, Creativity and Innovation is one of the few ways to a woman's heart. Poetry is another key. Who would still expect a living Shakespeare nowadays right?  Words and feelings expressed in rhymes and through poems could be another form of expressed sincerity.

Let there be someone who is confident enough to show you how much he likes you through a song even though he knows he is not good in singing. I'd rather have the guy who is out of tune but has the courage to show his love through his shortcomings. It will take you a lot of courage and effort to sing your heart out especially if you're not good at it. Let there be someone who goes out of his comfort zone just to catch you. Effort and Courage counts!

Let there be someone who will..

catch you when you fall.. (this is more than just the literal term of fall, this is more acceptable with the emotional definition of falling) fall in love.

Let there be someone who won't let you handle all your problems alone, let there be someone who is willing to carry even half of the problems and all the burdens that you're going through. Let there be someone who will took the initiative to remove all the pressures that life has to bring. 

Let there be someone who always gets out of his way to make things lighter. Someone who could take an extra effort and an extra mile just to make you smile and give you courage whenever you need it most. Let there be someone who has this kind of humor just to make you feel a little bit out of the depressed zone and a whole lot better. 

Lastly, Let there be someone who is God-centered, someone who will lead and carry you closer to God especially at times that you' re down. Someone who will put God at the center of everything and at the center of between you and him. 

Am I asking too much or Do I sound like really demanding here? Anyway, there are only two important qualities that one should value in a person which is integrity and being God centered and that's enough. Mr. Perfect is far way different from Mr. Right anyway and that person will always be an exception to any kind of idea and reverie that one has. 

It's not about finding the right person in a sea of wrong people, it's in the case of you, making yourself the right person in a vast expanse of wrong people, wrong timings and wrong circumstances.

Inside the Transit

It's almost thrice every week that I get the chance to ride the LRT (Light Railway Transit), as we all know, it is definitely one of the easiest transportation if you're heading towards University Belt or somewhere near Quezon City, Manila, Makati and the like. It's one of the easiest escape from the unending traffic that everybody get to experience more often. 

I'm one of the usual passengers of LRT line 2 and honestly it is the finest of the three transits that I have ever tried. It will took you almost 15 to 20 minutes waiting for the train to arrive when you're waiting early morning at Santolan Station heading to Recto and within that 15-20 minutes span of time,  believe me or not, I actually had a lot of observations with a lot of things running in my mind.

The line 2 transit has its own space for the elderly and disabled, but you will still notice a lot of passengers heading through that space and what's more? you'll find the elderly people standing all through out their journey.

In addition, a lot of guys occupy the sits, well this shows that men and women were definitely of equal footage right? Moreover, I'm happy that Philippines still has few gentlemen who were very much courteous to offer sits. I'm not after the sits anyway.

Have you ever notice the sign "Let's be courteous, let passengers alight first" ?
I must say that it is being ignored, I don't get it why people rush themselves and push people in front of them, when in fact, they'll all have the chance to enter the train before the door closes and you know, there will always be a next ride. We're not even in a walking dead series and a sort of zombie movie to have such attitude.

The line in order to purchase a ticket is terrible, you better buy a stored ticket to get away with the terrible line that I'm talking about.

You'll be able to see bunch of students riding the transit because it is the easiest/fastest way to go to school especially if you're a constant candidate of being late and never early. You'll see in here the gadget groups, well these are the type of passengers who were busy with their gadgets and does not mind how many and who were the persons inside, they actually don't have trust issues not until they find their phones missing. I don't mean being mean here but you just got to be aware and extra careful because honestly, you can never trust anybody nowadays, even the kindest friend could be the worst enemy, well I hope you got my point there.

There's also a circle of people who feels like they are inside a bar shouting out loud and cracking conversations like they own the whole transit. We're definitely not in the library but you guys must know the right place where to show appropriate behaviors.

It will definitely take you a lot of risk in riding a transit especially if you're a first time commuter/traveler. It is where you're going to see a sea of people rushing but if we only knew the value of being courteous and not being selfish, it would definitely be a lot better version of transportation.

In short: Courtesy and Unselfishness is the key!

Red Velvet Entertainment's Best

         So I'm starting the week with a new song on my head and I'm seriously looking for the piano sheet for the exact arrangement. However, I ended up guessing the right key. 

         It's because Boyzone will be spending time here in Manila that I was able to come up with the idea of searching one of their songs entitled "I love the way you love me" but guess what?! I found Eric Martin's version being sung in a wedding with a different upbeat courtesy of Red Velvet Entertainment. I haven't heard the group not until I ended up with their own version of the said song. And so I did some research and found out that the group originated in Jakarta Indonesia.  

It's indeed the musical arrangement that I admired most from this video performance. And one thing that I noticed was that there are few changes in terms of the lyrics when it comes to Eric Martin's version compared to the original. 

Original version from Boyzone goes like: 

"And I like the sound of old RnB

  and you roll your eyes when I'm slightly off key

  and I like the innocent way that you cry

  at sappy old movies you've seen thousands of times"

While Eric Martin's version goes like: 

"I like the way that you sing sweet and low

  when they're playing our song on the radio

  and i like the innocent way that you cry

  at old time movies you've seen hundreds of time"

I was able to noticed the difference because this is my favorite part of the song, and both versions were great.

Rhythms with TJ Monterde

I've been hearing Tj's voice for quite some time now and honestly he also has a great voice and for sure you might have heard his voice somewhere too.

And today I'll be featuring here in my blog few of his covered songs.

This guy is definitely more of acoustic ballads and not to mention, he is good looking. right?

And one of my favorites from his playlist is this one which is originally from Parokya ni Edgar entitled "Wag Mo Na Sana"

Another song which has a very nice music video which was also sung by Tj is entitled "Sa Tuwina"

anyway, they just got the perfect match of lyrics with the rhythm. Bottomline: the music video could possibly make one smile and feel giddy at the same time. 

Oh! And this one, you could have heard this somewhere in radios and tv commercials and this could also be the just right to perfect "harana" song.

THE RIGHT AND LEFT BRAIN

Have you ever thought which part of the brain dominates your personality?

I have been asked many times how to know if you are right or left brained kind of human because many people are still confused with these two and they often interchange it.

In this manner, even there are a lot of personalities that a person could possibly have, this  is just a matter of deciding whether you are the scientist or the artist type of person or more specifically the logical left brainer or the creative right brainer. 

I am very sure on how am I going to differentiate these two because all my life I'm trying to be the left brainer type of person but being a right brainer is definitely not bad. 

Two halves of the brain are not identical. Right half of the brain processes creative tasks and left half can handle math or form language. Left Brain deals with analysis, logic, words, numbers, reason, analytical, sequential. Right Brain deals with pictures, feelings, creativity,arts, abstract and innovation but the brain is not a clear cut as the myth makes it out to be. These two halves of the brain should work hand in hand and should be interrelated and should not be used and enhanced separately. 

According to Anderson:

The neuroscience community has never accepted the idea of 'left-dominant' or 'right-dominant' personality types. Lesion studies don't support it, and the truth is that it would be highly inefficient for one half of the brain to consistently be more active than the other.

Moreover, as what one of my idols in the management and leadership industry, Francis Kong says, grading system of most of the schools is very limitng and are only interested in developing the left brain and never the right brain and this should be addressed accordingly. In order to be whole brained, schools need to give equal weight to these both sides of the brain. 

By the way, Francis Kong was the president of Success Option Publishing Company, Director of Inspire Leadership Consultancy, an author, columnist  and  a Filipino, Motivational Speaker.

The Perfect OPM Background Moment Song

I bet you guys were either quietly smiling or laughing out loud upon reading the title of this blog post, but you know, when you have tried to be entrapped in a daytime reverie, you'll probably agree with me. 

But hey! I just found an OPM song that perfectly describes what I'm feeling when  i get to see (ahem!) the person I like. 

I first heard it on television from a korean series and I really admire Morisette Amon from the The Voice PH season 1 for being able to amazingly pull of this song entitled "Di Mapaliwanag"

I actually got a lot of hugot from the title up to the end and last note of the song. (Kfine, laugh as long and loud as you can).

If I could just press an automatic play button of this song whenever I get to see the person I admire, just like what we ideally see on movies and telenovelas right? The perfect moment wherein the rest of the people suddenly blurs out of the scene, with the perfect background song and the slow motion to fast forward kind of scenario.

Whenever you see the person, you just can't help but to think if its actually faith that intervenes.

Whenever you look at his eyes, you just can't help but hope that somehow you are his missing piece. 

And we just can't hide the universal feeling of being elated when that someone special is just around.

And honestly, the chorus is the perfect descrption of what I'm feeling when I'm with the person that I actually like, the sudden rush in breathing and heartbeat is terrible and you know, you just can't explain why it do happen, well, I can actually explain it in terms of physiology and pathophysiology but the reason behind the person being the main contributing factor of the whole pathophysiologic reaction process is exceptionally unexplainable and it is beyond what Science can actually expound on this matter.

P.S. to my most potent vasoconstrictor, if ever you were able to read this, now you know why I always "stutter" around you from the face mask up to the "what's your perfume?" scenario and question and answer renal portion. 

WHENEVER I CALL YOU FRIEND

So who among you have experienced being in a "friendzone" kind of thing.

Anyway, I just heard this song while I'm on my way heading to somewhere entitled "Whenever I call you friend" by Michael Johnson and I think this could be the perfect song to set the mood for a weekend drive following a one sided friendship love affair. Oh! Never mind the last few words. 

The song writer just got the perfect set of words that probably matches a universal feeling. 

With the first few lines, I just love how it was delivered. "Whenever I call you friend, I begin to think I understand, anything we are , you and I have always been.' You'll surely be thinking of a particular person and how you guys have been through with just this lines followed with a laid back rhythm and harmony. Thus, it will only just fall down into two, it could be something or nothing. am I right or am I right?

As we go through life, there will always be one person wherein you will see yourself in his/her eyes and the rest will be history. I mean, all the "whys" will be answered instantly and it will always feels like home. 

Moreover, the chorus is perfect and I must say this could also be a perfect prenuptial theme song for a more vintage theme and seasonal theme. 

Another heart catching and heart melting line is this: "I think about the times to come, knowin' I will be the lucky one, ever our love will last, I always want to call you friend"

If the future circumstances permit, I would definitely love to sing this out loud to whoever I will always want to call my friend in the future and the infinite days to come. It is unusual to have someone who would think about the times that will come and still be confident enough to say that he/she is the lucky one. 

A lot of stories may not show us a heavenly light and a beautiful sight just like what the song is all about but it has given us a hope that there will always be someone in a form of being a friend that will give us a love that will last and will always make you feel at home in his/her life.
